Twenty One Pilots | Thekla, Bristol | February 25th, 2014
Last night I photographed Twenty One Pilots, a band I have wanted to see live for the longest time. The venue was on a boat, which was the coolest thing ever. There wasn’t room in the photo pit as the barriers went literally right up to the stage so I spent the whole night running from top to bottom of the venue, trying to get a decent photo. I took this one from the balcony. None of the photos I took are as good as I wanted them to be but it was challenging and made me really work to get a good shot - which is always fun. Sometimes I think the fun and hard work in photography is taken out by the ease of photo pits. It was nice to mix up my shots for once and not just have straight on ones. The band were incredible. Drummed on the crowd and everythaaan’ - if you get a chance to see them live, do it! Amazing band; incredible show.
I was bored and found these little ironing beads so I made the top logo
That’s it. That’s the band.
